The plugin is designed as a read-only directory browser. It shows approved public clan listings, opens public links, and helps players copy clan chat names. It does not automate gameplay, join clans, send chat messages, or perform in-game actions.
No. The plugin does not send your RuneScape username, account type, stats, clan membership, chat messages, friends list, inventory, bank, location, or live online status to ClanFinder.
It requests approved public listing data, event data, and listing images from osrsclanfinder.com. Normal web request metadata such as IP address, user agent, request time, and requested API path may be processed by the website infrastructure.
Clan owners submit listings on the website. Approved listings can then appear in the web directory, public API, and RuneLite plugin. Some public stats may come from linked Wise Old Man groups when a clan owner enables them.
No. Discord servers, websites, and application forms are opened as external public links controlled by the clan. The plugin does not read private Discord channels or application responses.
