The best Old School RuneScape clan events give people a reason to log in, form teams, teach newer members, and celebrate progress together. That is the idea behind Clan Finder community challenges: a season of public OSRS clan competitions built around skilling, PvM, boss kill counts, raids, and shared rewards.

From July through Christmas 2026, clans can take part in a different featured challenge each month. The calendar includes an Agility XP sprint, a Callisto KC race, a Sailing competition, a Maggot King boss hunt, a Tombs of Amascut raid rally, and a Christmas Skillmas finale. Each event gives clan leaders something concrete to plan around while giving members a visible team goal.

The programme is designed for competitive PvM clans, social bossing communities, raid teams, skillers, iron-friendly groups, and mixed clans that simply want a reason to play together. Entry is free, progress is tracked through Wise Old Man, and every monthly competition has five Old School Bonds in prizes.

Clan Finder community challenges are scheduled OSRS clan events where registered clans compete on the same public leaderboard. Instead of organising a private spreadsheet or asking every member to submit screenshots, clan progress is measured from linked Wise Old Man group data.

Every event focuses on one clear metric. A skilling month can measure XP gained, while a PvM month can measure boss or raid kill count. Clan Finder records a baseline, refreshes the standings while the event is running, and reviews the final result before winners are confirmed.

2. The 2026 OSRS community event schedule

The schedule moves between skilling and PvM so different kinds of clans have a month that matches their strengths. It also gives mixed clans opportunities to involve members who may not normally compete together.

3. PvM clan events built around bossing and raids

Three events are directly focused on PvM: Callisto in August, the Maggot King in October, and Tombs of Amascut in November. These competitions turn familiar bossing and raid content into a shared clan campaign rather than a collection of unrelated solo trips.

A Callisto KC competition can encourage wilderness teams, scouts, supply preparation, and safe group coordination. A Maggot King boss hunt gives clans a new seasonal target for October. The Tombs of Amascut rally can bring experienced raiders and learners together, with veterans teaching rooms, invocations, roles, and team strategy.

Good PvM clan events do not need every member to be an elite player. Some members chase the leaderboard, some host learner trips, some help with setup and strategy, and others keep the event active through Discord, clan chat, screenshots, and encouragement. Each community challenge has a five-Bond prize pool. First place receives three Old School Bonds and second place receives two. The prize structure is intentionally simple, visible before registration, and consistent across the calendar.

Community competitions use linked Wise Old Man groups because fair clan scoring needs a consistent starting point. Clan Finder captures member values at entry and around the event boundaries, then measures positive gains for the selected XP or KC metric.

• The clan joins with an approved Clan Finder listing and linked Wise Old Man group
• An opening baseline records eligible group members and their starting values
• Standings refresh hourly while the event is live
• Only positive gains from the top 50 contributors count toward the clan score
• Late entrants receive a join-time baseline, so earlier progress is not counted
• Final snapshots and eligibility are reviewed before placements become official

Members should refresh their Wise Old Man profiles near the published start and finish. Keeping the linked group current also helps clan leaders avoid missing members, stale values, or preventable review delays.

The public leaderboard is only one part of a successful event. The strongest community challenges create smaller reasons for members to participate throughout the month, including people who are unlikely to finish among the top contributors.
